These advanced technique in shield play is used by some martial archetypes. Allowing the shield to become an offensive weapon in dealing with their foes. Large Shields gain the Bash Option (See Below). Medium Shields gain the Flourish Option (See Below). Small Shields gain the Thrown Option (See Below).
Bash - Use the size of your shield to overwhelm the your foes. As an attack you can use this shield to roll 1d10 Bludgeoning Damage. Large Shields gain the Sap Weapon Mastery.
Flourish - Use your advanced training to hide your next attack behind your current defense. As attack you can use this shield to make a distracting jab rolling 1d8 Bludgeoning Damage. Medium Shields gain the Vex Weapon Mastery.
Thrown - A unique style usually reserved for those gifted in the Arcane or Divine as well as martial training. As a small glyph is placed on these bucklers allowing them to return to the matching glyph. These attacks have a range of 30/90 and deal 1d6 Bludgeoning Damage. Small Shields gain the Slow Weapon Mastery.
