Key of [????]

Soul Artifact (Prerequisite: Death)

Placed within the centre of your Soul is the Key of [????], a Artifact of incredible power. This Key unlocks the [????] [????] which is said to hold the [????] within. Once lost to time it has appeared within you now, when Fates unspun are woven anew and the great forces of the multiverse begin enacting their long awaited plans.

You gain the following benefits.

Undeath Affinity. When you would recast a spell to retain control of summoned undead such as Animate Dead, you may instead choose to spend a 3rd Level Spell Slot to retain control of up to 2x your Proficiency Bonus of summoned undead. Any undead under the effect of Unlocked Potential do not require you to retain control this way.

Unlocked Potential. When within 30 feet of an undead under your control, you may spend 1 minute (as if concentrating on a spell) to unlock that undead's potential. Allowing it to regain the effects of it's Statblock it would have had in life. Ask your DM for these statblocks. Any undead you use this ability on becomes linked to your soul and does not require you to refresh your control over it every 24 hours. The number of undead you may unlock the potential of and link to your soul is half your Proficiency Modifier (rounded down).

You may unlink any undead you have unlocked the potential of as an Action, however they are immediately destroyed upon doing so.
