For one reason or another, through meditation, biological predisposition, or natural talent you have gained access to the Dreamscape, whenever you take a Long Rest your mind will be transported to this Sun-Plane of existence. Within the Users own dream their physical stats can be chosen by them, while your mental stats must stay the same. While within your own dream, the User can watch back their own memories.
(Flavored in whatever way the player wants.)
Due to your dreamy escapades, gain the following benefits.
Increase your Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Lucid Domain. The User can take actions within their own dreamscape, up to the DM’s discretion- these actions cannot lead to any of the physical ability scores to increase, the mental ability scores, spell study, and technique refinement are up to the DM’s discretion however.
Somnium Interloper. As an Action when the Player is going to Long Rest, he can choose to enter the dream of an entity that was met or interacted with in the last 30 days, that is one the same plane as them.
- Within a different person’s dream, the User’s physical stats equal to those that he has in the waking world.
- If the dream is a nightmare, the User will only be allowed to observe.
- A dream may reveal the dreamer’s aspirations and likes, while a nightmare will reveal their insecurities and fears.
- Informing any entity within another persons dream that it is in fact a dream, will immediately warp it into a nightmare.
- When entering a dream, roll a 1d100 and if it is a 1 to 10 it will be a nightmare. (DM chooses special number effects)
- Asking the person whose dream you are in a question, will have them answer with what they believe is the truth.
- Another experienced in such techniques, or expecting this incursion may resist the User, with a contested Wisdom Check.
