Due to a horrifically painful surgery by a automaton you don't fully understand, your eyes have been replaced with these new, better ones. These eyes give you several benefits:
- you gain truesight for the first 30ft. of your vision that manifests as heat vision with details. The sight can be turned on and off. (If you had darkvision, that ability is lost)
- you gain proficiency in perception (if you already have it, you gain expertise)
- you gain advantage on all perception checks
- you gain +2 bonus to all ranged attack rolls
