You bear a strange curse of returning life, though each return lets the flowers of death claim more of you.
When you drop to 0 hp or die, you can instead choose to drop to 1 hit point, fall prone, and gain 1 Flowerfell Blossom. A flower visibly blooms somewhere on your body.
Each Flowerfell Blossom you have gives you a cumulative penalty based on how many you have:
- Your speed is reduced by 5 feet.
- You have disadvantage on initiative rolls.
- You have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws.
- Your speed is reduced by another 5 feet.
- Your hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to twice your level.
- You can't take reactions.
- Your speed is reduced by another 10 feet.
- You have disadvantage on attack rolls.
- You have disadvantage on all saving throws.
- The flowers fully claim you. You die, unable to utilize any feat or feature that could prevent death.
These Flowerfell Blossoms cannot be removed except through the use of the wish spell.
