You manifest a fractured echo of a lost divine domain, forcing harm to pass through you before it reaches others.
As a bonus action, you can activate this domain. It lasts for 1 minute and requires concentration (as if concentrating on a spell). Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
While the domain is active, a 15-foot aura surrounds you and moves with you. The following rules apply:
Forced Interception
When a creature other than you within the aura takes damage, you can use your reaction to intercept that harm. The damage is split evenly between you and the target, with each taking half of the total damage (rounded up).
You can only intercept damage if you are not incapacitated and are no farther from the source of the damage than the protected creature.
Mounting Pressure
Each time you intercept damage, you gain one Pressure stack, to a maximum of 3.
For each Pressure stack you have, you take an additional 2 damage whenever you intercept damage.
At 3 Pressure stacks, you have disadvantage on Constitution saving throws made to maintain concentration on this feature.
All Pressure stacks are removed when the domain ends or when you drop to 0 hit points.
Overextension
If you intercept damage while at 3 Pressure stacks, you must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw.
On a failed save, the domain immediately ends and you take 2d8 force damage.
Absolute Cost
While this domain is active:
- You cannot regain hit points by any means, including spells, abilities, or items
- You cannot gain temporary hit points
- Any feature that would prevent you from dropping to 0 hit points does not function
These restrictions end immediately when the domain ends.
Anchored Threat
Enemies within your aura have disadvantage on opportunity attacks against creatures other than you.
Intercepting Strike
When you use your reaction to intercept damage, you may immediately make one melee weapon attack against the source of that damage, if it is within your reach.
On a hit, the target’s speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of its next turn.
