Shadow Veilstep
While you are in dim light or darkness, you can use a bonus action to step from one shadow into another you can see within 60 feet. You must begin and end this movement in dim light or darkness.
This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Aegis Conduit
When you use a feature, spell, or effect that reduces damage or protects another creature (such as Aegis Flicker or Aegis Lumen), you may immediately use Shadow Veilstep as part of the same reaction or action without expending a use of Shadow Veilstep.
You may bring one willing creature within 5 feet of you when you do so. That creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be pulled through the Umbra current with you, taking 1d6 necrotic damage and losing reactions until the start of its next turn.
Shared Aegis Passage
When you successfully use Shadow Veilstep after triggering Aegis Flicker or casting Aegis Lumen, you may choose one creature you affected with that ability.
If that creature is within 30 feet of your destination, you may draw them into your new position as part of the same movement (no action required), provided they are willing or unconscious.
This represents the Aegis and shadow domains momentarily overlapping—where protection becomes relocation, and harm is answered by removal from its path.
