You have a sense for a dramatic timing and figuring out situations. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- You gain proficiency in the Performance skill.
- As an action, you can start a monologue that lasts until the end of your next turn. During this time, you and any friendly creatures within 30 feet of you can add your Charisma (Performance) modifier to Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Insight) checks. A creature must be able to hear you to gain this benefit. The monologue ends early if you are incapacitated or silenced or if you voluntarily end it (no action required).

This would be an unusual choice for a feat. It seems like a specialized version of the Guidance cantrip, but guaranteed and applicable only to two checks. I suppose that helps to balance it, although it feels rather expensive except for a single-class Fighter or Rogue.
I’ve had this concern for awhile as well. I was thinking of giving advantage on attack rolls if you succeed on an Insight or Investigation check versus a creature’s Deception check. Or, perhaps in the spirit of the reveal, giving some additional benefits, like truesight or some more contained version of that.
What are your thoughts on the matter?
Well, it seems to be suited to an RP-heavy campaign, which is fine. It reminds me of the Counter-charm ability that Bards get. In fact, this does seem rather like a feat that a Bard would pick up except that most already get the performance skill. So maybe it should be based off of Intelligence or Wisdom instead of Charisma for starters. Secondarily, you could have it provide a small bonus to saving throws against charm effects and illusion magics, say a +2 or +3.
