Form Of Myocrys Image

Your bond with the twin-headed serpent has deepened to the point where its essence reshapes your body. You can assume a serpentine form, blending your nature with that of your patron.

Serpentine Transformation

You can transform into your snake form or revert to your normal form as a bonus action. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

You may also assume a hybrid form, gaining limited aspects of your transformation (see below).

Snake Form

While fully transformed, you gain the following benefits:

Scales.
While you are not wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier.
You gain resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against the poisoned condition.

Fangs.
Your unarmed strikes become venomous natural weapons, which you can use with Dexterity. On a hit, they deal:

  • 1d4 piercing damage + 4d4 poison damage

The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or become poisoned until the end of its next turn.

Your fangs count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks.

Additionally, when you hit a creature with your fangs that has hit points equal to or lower than 10 + your level, you can instantly slay it. This threshold is doubled on a critical hit.
Creatures immune to poison damage (such as constructs and undead) are immune to this effect.

Serpent’s Sight.
You gain darkvision out to 60 feet, or its range increases by 60 feet if you already have it.
You also gain blindsight out to 10 feet.

Tail.
You have advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks.
In addition, you can use a bonus action to attempt to knock a creature prone. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or fall prone.

Terrifying Presence.
While in this form, you have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks, but disadvantage on Charisma (Persuasion) and Charisma (Deception) checks.

Your creature type becomes monstrosity for the duration.

Hybrid Form

As part of your transformation, you may instead adopt a hybrid state. When you do so, choose one feature from Snake Form (Scales, Fangs, Serpent’s Sight, or Tail). You gain only that feature until you revert.

Curse of Hunger

The power of Myocrys demands sustenance.

You must assume your snake form at least once per day and successfully hit a creature with your Fangs.

If you fail to do so, your hit point maximum is reduced by 4d4 at the end of the day. This reduction stacks and cannot be removed except by fulfilling this requirement, at which point all reductions are immediately restored.
