General Feat
Prerequisite: Proficiency with alchemist’s supplies, 4th level or higher

  • Increase one ability score of your choice by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • Efficient Recycling. After you craft alchemical items, herbal concoctions, or poisons using purchased or harvested ingredients, you can reuse the chemical residue left on your tools to create a number of additional doses equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) without new raw materials. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you purchase or harvest new ingredients.
  • Chemical Bombardier. When you attack with an improvised chemical weapon (vial or flask):
    • The piercing damage increases to 1d4 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier.
    • When you target one creature, you add your proficiency bonus to the initial damage if it fails the saving throw against the alchemical substance (for example, acid, alchemist’s fire, or oil). You do not add this bonus to ongoing damage, such as the Burning condition from alchemist’s fire or lit oil.
    • If the substances deal damage, the target takes half damage even on a successful saving throw.
    • Instead of targeting a single creature, you can splash the contents in a 5-foot-radius sphere centered on the point of impact. All creatures in that area must make the appropriate saving throw, taking the full or half damage on a successful save, but you don’t add your proficiency bonus to the damage.
