Having returned from death infused with chaotic magic, the person's body now hosts volatile, arcane fungi. These spores grow unpredictably and produce unstable magical effects when harvested or triggered.

At the end of each long rest 1D4 mushrooms sprout from the persons body (locations can be inconsistent). These mushrooms can be harvested at any time without an action required. Unharvested mushrooms with and lose all potency after the players next long rest or sustain a large percentage of physical harm.
The player can carry a number of harvested mushrooms equal to proficiency bonus + constitution modifier (1 minimum).

Unstable affects of the mushrooms structures require the player, when harvesting, to roll of the spore effect table to determine its magical property. This is a 1D8 roll. A mushroom may be consumed or applied as a bonus action no matter its form. Its symbiotic instability reacts violently to wild magics. When a character triggers a wild magic surge one random unharvested mushroom immediately activates, targeting a random valid creature which may extend to the player themselves. If no mushrooms are available on the body the player instead takes 1D6 necrotic damage as their body strains to produce one.
