Buffs
You are no longer Blinded.
Corner-read (awareness only): You can make Wis (Perception) checks to notice creatures around a corner / through an open doorway without direct line of sight, as long as they aren’t behind full cover. (This is detecting only; you still can’t attack/cast “through walls”.)
Structural clarity: Advantage on Int (Investigation) checks to find hidden compartments / secret doors / trap seams / tampering (physical/structural stuff).
Debuffs
Low-detail vision: Disadvantage on Wis (Perception) checks that rely on fine visual detail (faces, exact colors, small symbols at distance, reading expressions, etc.).
Reading restriction: You cannot read ordinary text in combat with Ink Sight. Outside combat, you can read if you spend 1 minute still and focused within 5 ft of the text (e.g., a note in a drawer).
