You have a knack for being able to adapt to a variety of situations, due to your obsessive interest in a wide array of esoteric and seemingly-irrelevant topics. However, this condition can also come at a cost...
- You have 3 ADD points. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can spend one ADD point to roll an additional d20. You can choose to spend one of your ADD points after you roll the die, but before the outcome is determined. You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
- You can also spend one ADD point when an attack roll is made against you. Roll a d20, and then choose whether the attack uses the attacker's roll or yours. If more than one creature spends an ADD point to influence the outcome of a roll, the points cancel each other out; no additional dice are rolled.
- Whenever you spend an ADD point, you gain one point of Uncontrollable Impulse. At any time, the DM can choose to expend one of your Uncontrollable Impulse points to attempt to make you do something stupid and reckless. You must make a DC 8 Wisdom saving throw, adding 5 to the DC for each point of Uncontrollable Impulse you currently possess. On a failure, you must take the course of action the DM suggests. On a success, you are able to control your impulse and continue on.
- When you finish a long rest, you regain your expended ADDDD points and lose all Uncontrollable Impulse points.
