You master the art of wielding whips and similar soft weaponry. You gain the following benefits when using any of them:
- Other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter the reach you have with that weapon.
- You may use that weapon's attack to grapple a creature, instead of using a free hand.
- You can use the Disarming Attack and Tripping Attack manoeuvres from the Battle Master archetype in the fighter class with that weapon. If a manoeuvre you use requires your target to make a saving throw to resist the manoeuver’s effects, the saving throw DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier.
- If you already have Superiority dice, you may use those to fuel your manoeuvre; otherwise whenever you use a manoeuvre, you can replace the weapon attack roll with a one instead of expending a Superiority die.
