You gain proficiency with Monster Harvesting Tools. If you already have proficiency with Monster Harvesting Tools, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks made with them.

When you successfully harvest a creature for usable parts, you gain double the normal harvest yield if the creature has enough material to provide it.

When harvesting common or basic monster parts, such as hide, bone, meat, teeth, claws, horns, scales, or fur, the harvest DC is halved at the DM’s discretion.

You can stabilize a creature within 5 feet of you as a bonus action.

You can harvest a minor reagent from a creature that died recently, such as blood, venom residue, bone chips, fat, glands, fur, claw dust, hide scraps, or other minor crafting material.

When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to identify one obviously harvestable part from that creature.

This toolkit provides everything characters need to extract animus and preserve useful creature parts. It contains skinning knives, a cleaver, syringes, a hammer, scissors, scalpels, a bone saw, hooks, vials, watertight containers, binding reagents, preserving salts, and wrappings.

Proficiency with Monster Harvesting Tools may apply to Wisdom (Survival), Intelligence (Nature), Dexterity-based tool checks, Intelligence (Arcana), Intelligence (Religion), or other checks used to harvest monster parts, preserve organs, extract animus, remove venom sacs, collect glands, skin hides, remove claws, recover teeth, gather bones, or prepare usable crafting materials.

Without this kit, harvest checks may be made with bonuses, may produce reduced yield, or may ruin delicate parts, at the DM’s discretion.
