Increase your Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
When a creature you can see that is within a number of feet equal to your current walking speed is hit by an attack or fails a saving throw that would deal damage, you can use your reaction to interpose yourself and have the attack or effect target you instead. If you do so:
-
The attack or effect targets you instead; resolve the attack roll or saving throw against your statistics. If the attack hits or the effect deals damage, you take the damage and the ally takes no damage.
-
You gain resistance to the triggering damage type until the end of your next turn.
-
You immediately gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1).
-
You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1). You regain all expended uses after a long rest.
