You have learned the first rites of the Shugen-Sha, the tidal mystics and spirit-binders of the Shirohami isles.

Ability Score Increase. Increase your Wisdom, Intelligence, or Charisma by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Minor Spirit Rites. You learn the Thaumaturgy cantrip. When you cast it, its effects may manifest as ringing shrine bells, moving prayer strips, a sudden scent of salt air, flickering lantern light, or a whisper of bamboo.

Rite of Purification. You can cast Protection from Evil and Good once without expending a spell slot or material components. You regain the ability to cast it with this feat when you finish a Long Rest.

Spirit Etiquette. You have advantage on Intelligence (Religion) or Wisdom (Insight) checks made to interpret shrine customs, identify signs of spiritual disturbance, or determine whether a local spirit has been offended.
