Benefits

• Increase your Intelligence or Wisdom by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• During a Short Rest, you can inscribe one minor rune on a nonmagical item. Choose one benefit:
• A weapon gains +1 damage on its next successful hit.
• Armor or a shield grants +1 AC against the next attack that hits.
• A tool grants +1d4 to the next ability check made with it.
• You can use this rune feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per Long Rest.
• You have advantage on checks to identify runic writing, maker’s marks, or symbolic craft inscriptions.
