Prerequisite: Downcast

The life you lived before the Fracture remains unusually strong within you.

You gain the following benefits:

Ability Score Increase. Increase one ability score of your choice by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Remembered Talent. Gain proficiency in one skill, tool, or language tied to your former life.

Former-Life Instinct. When you make an ability check using the proficiency granted by Remembered Talent, you can roll 1d4 and add it to the result. You can use this benefit after seeing the roll but before knowing whether it succeeds.

You can use Former-Life Instinct a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
