Prerequisite: Kaelrathi heritage or proficiency with Smith’s Tools

Increase your Strength, Intelligence, or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20.

You gain proficiency with Smith’s Tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain Expertise with Smith’s Tools instead.

During a Long Rest, you can inscribe a temporary frost-rune onto one nonmagical weapon, shield, or set of armor. Until your next Long Rest, the item gains one of the following benefits:

• Weapon: The first time each turn the wielder hits, the attack deals 1 extra Cold damage.
• Shield: Once per Short or Long Rest, the wielder may reduce Cold damage taken by 1d6.
• Armor: The wearer has advantage on checks to endure cold weather.
