Blade Dancer

Prerequisite: Monk 11+, Way of the Kensei

Your combat style has evolved into a supernatural dance of steel and motion.

Ability Score Increase

Increase your Dexterity score by 2, to a maximum of 22.

Graceful Performer

You gain proficiency in the Performance skill. If you are already proficient, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any Performance check involving dance, movement, or choreographed combat.

Dance of Blades

While wielding a Kensei weapon and not wearing armour or using a shield, you gain the following benefits:

• Your speed increases by 10 feet.
• When you hit with a Kensei weapon attack, you may deal additional force damage equal to your martial arts die if you have moved at least 10 ft since your last attack.
• If a melee attack misses you, you may use your reaction to you may move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks. If you move at least 10ft you may spend a focus point to make a Kensei weapon attack.

Perfect Flow

When you use Flurry of Blows, you can replace one of the unarmed strikes with a Kensei weapon attack.

Blade Dance

Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you enter a supernatural dance that lasts for 1 minute. While dancing:

• You gain a +2 bonus to AC.
• Your movement ignores difficult terrain.
• Once on each of your turns, when you spend a focus point, you can make a Kensei weapon attack.
• Once on each of your turns, after hitting a creature, you may move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
