Prerequisite: Rage feature and Wild Surge feature
Arcane Breathing Discipline
Prerequisite: Rage feature and Wild Surge feature
You have learned to steady your breath and center your body when wild magic rises within you. Though the magic remains unpredictable, you can guide its release through discipline, instinct, and controlled breathing.
You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Strength, Constitution, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- When you enter your rage and roll on the Wild Magic table, you can use this feat to roll two d8s instead of one. You choose which of the two results takes effect. You can use this benefit a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
- If both d8s show the same number when you use this feat, the wild magic surges with unusual intensity. The DM determines how the effect is empowered. This empowerment might be mechanical, narrative, or purely visual, but it should not automatically double the effect’s damage or duration.
- When you enter your rage, you can choose to suppress your Wild Surge instead of releasing it immediately. If you do, you do not roll on the Wild Magic table when the rage begins. Starting at the beginning of your next turn, you can release the suppressed magic, requiring no action, and roll on the Wild Magic table as normal. If your rage ends before you release the suppressed magic, you gain one level of exhaustion.
- If you release a suppressed Wild Surge, you can use the second benefit of this feat when you roll, provided you have a use of that benefit remaining.
