Your shapechanging magic surpasses the limits of other changelings' powers, allowing you to take on a greater variety of forms. Those changes also seem to be more complete, providing benefit beyond mere disguise. You gain the following improvements to your Shapechanger feature.
• You can mimic creatures of one size category smaller than you.
• You can mimic humanoids with wildly different body shapes, such as a merfolk, and creatures with additional limbs, such as aaracockra.
• You gain some of the racial features of the race you mimic. These include any benefits and detriments caused by physical adaptations, such as special senses or movement options. It does not include effects caused by magic, such as Draconic Ancestry, effects due to acquired knowledge or training, such as Dwarven Combat Training, or effects stemming from natural talent, such as Naturally Stealthy. You cannot gain the Ability Score Increase feature in this way.
