This feat adds the 2024 version of "Gust of Wind" to your character. Select this version if Intelligence is your spellcasting ability.
The existing species is from 5e and thus uses the legacy spell in the "Wind Caller" species feature. Once this feat is added, both versions of the spell will appear on your character sheet. Only one or the other should be used in the case of the "once per long rest" use of the spell. As with all spells gained through Feats, due to DDB system limitations, the "prepared" version of the spell will display as "At Will" in your spell list. Please manually ensure a spell slot is marked off when casting the 2024 version of this spell using a spell slot.
The difference between the "Legacy" and 2024 versions of the spell is that the Legacy version triggers a STR saving throw if a creature starts their turn in the effect's area, whereas the 2024 version triggers a STR saving throw immediately upon casting and at the end of the creature's turn.
