"Not every soul seeks to linger. Not every soul deserves to. Only those who accept your final blessing may leave behind an Echo."
Within 24 hours of a creature's death, you may perform a sacred funerary rite over its remains. Performing this rite requires 10 uninterrupted minutes, and the creature's body (or a significant portion of it) must be present throughout the ritual.
As part of the rite, you speak the creature's name, honor its life, and guide its soul toward a peaceful afterlife.
The ritual requires one of the following offerings:
Expend one spell slot of 1st level or higher.
Sacrifice one unspent Hit Die.
Consume 25 gp worth of incense and sacred oils, which are burned during the ritual.
At the ritual's conclusion, if the creature's soul willingly accepts your blessing, it passes on peacefully, leaving behind an Echo.
An Echo is not the creature's soul. It is a lingering manifestation of its memories, convictions, and experiences. The soul itself continues on to the afterlife and cannot be summoned, questioned, or returned by this feature.
You may possess only one Echo at a time.
Creating a new Echo causes your previous Echo to fade peacefully beyond the veil. You can create a new Echo only after completing a Long Rest.
An unwilling soul can never become an Echo.
Echo Blessing
Stigma Feature

That creature instead drops to 1 hit point.
The Echo immediately fades.
