Infernal Legacy

Infernal Legacy

*Prerequisite: Tiefling*

Description: The blood of a powerful archdevil flows through your veins. Though your infernal heritage remains hidden from most mortals, its influence constantly stirs beneath the surface.

Ability Score Increase: Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Infernal Glamour: As a bonus action, you can assume a humanoid appearance or reveal your true tiefling form.

When you adopt this appearance:

* You appear as a specific human identity that you have created.
* Your voice, height, weight, and physical features change accordingly.
* Your equipment does not change appearance.

This transformation is not an illusion or a spell.

* Detect Magic reveals nothing.
* Dispel Magic has no effect.
* Truesight reveals your true form.
* Effects that specifically reveal a creature's true nature or lineage may penetrate this disguise, at the DM's discretion.

Scion of Hell: You have advantage on Charisma (Deception) checks made to conceal your true identity or infernal heritage.

Infernal Whispers: During a Long Rest, you may ask the DM one question about a person you met during the previous day.

The DM provides a cryptic answer revealing one of the following:

* An ambition
* A fear
* A hidden desire
* A moral weakness

This knowledge manifests as dreams, visions, or whispered words from the Hells.
