Whenever you hear a repeating beat, rhythmic pattern, chant, or looped melody that you know the dance of this curse activates.
Compulsion Effect
You must immediately:
- Drop all items you are holding. They fall at your feet.
- Use your Action on your next turn to perform a dance related to the sound.
- You cannot take any other action that turn except movement (you may move while dancing if you want or cry).
Mechanical Consequences
- You have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws until the start of your next turn after finishing the dance.
- You provoke opportunity attacks normally while dancing.
- You cannot cast spells, attack, or use items during the dance.
- If the trigger happens during a stealth situation, you automatically fail the Stealth check.
Resisting the Compulsion
If you attempt to resist, make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw.
- Fail: You immediately drop items and dance.
- Success: You delay the urge for 1 round, but must repeat the save if the rhythm continues.
The player and DM choose which beat, rhythm, chant or melody at their own discretion
