Cabin Boy Image

The Cabin Boy is the youngest or least experienced member of the crew, often tasked with a variety of essential but less glamorous jobs around the ship. They handle chores such as cleaning, running errands for senior crew members, carrying supplies, and assisting wherever needed. Despite the low rank, a good Cabin Boy is invaluable to a well-organized ship, learning the ropes while ensuring the day-to-day tasks are handled smoothly. In time, a capable Cabin Boy can rise through the ranks and learn essential skills from every crew member, gaining a wealth of knowledge about ship life.

As the cabin boy you have proficiency with the Acrobatics, Athletics, Perception, and Survival skills.

Feature: Jack of All Trades

As a Cabin Boy, you’re accustomed to doing a bit of everything on the ship. You can gain advantage on any ability check related to routine ship tasks, such as mopping the deck, climbing rigging, or carrying supplies.

Pirate Prestige Ability: Quick Learner

In your time as Cabin Boy, you’ve become adept at learning from others on the crew. By spending 1 pirate prestige point, you can temporarily gain the benefit of one feature from another crew role that you’ve observed in action. This effect lasts for 1 hour, allowing you to perform a limited version of that role’s expertise. You cannot mimic Captain, First Mate, or Artillerist features with this ability.
