(MANUALLY APPLY BTW CAUSE IT WON'T LET ME)
Your body defies the norms of your species. Whether through strange heritage, magical mutation, planar influence, or pure anomaly, you can reshape your stature in ways most creatures cannot.
Size Shift. When you select this feat, choose one of the following sizes: Small, Medium, or Large. You permanently become that size (this overrides your species’ normal size). You can also choose the same size as your species’ normal size; the benefits and drawbacks still apply.
Benefits & Drawbacks by Chosen Size
Small
Benefit: You gain +10 movement speed, and you can move through the space of any creature that is Medium or larger. You also have advantage on ability checks and saving throws made to hide or squeeze into tight spaces, then lastly you gain a +1d4 to dexterity checks and a 2d4 insead for dexterity saves.
Drawback: You have disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws that involve raw power (pushing, lifting, breaking objects, etc.), then you also gain a -3 towards strength based weapons for hitting and damaging
Medium
Benefit: You are treated as both Small and Medium for the purposes of squeezing, riding mounts, and occupying spaces, then you also gain a +1d4 or dexterity and strength saves.
Drawback: You gain no real disadvantages, but you still suffer the normal penalties of being neither especially small nor especially large when interacting with certain environmental factors or oversized objects.
Large
Benefit: Your carrying capacity is doubled, and you can grapple or shove creatures up to a size larger than yourself (Huge). You also have a +1d4 on strength checks or stuff that add your strength modifer, and a 2d4 on strength saves as well as a 1d4 for constitution saves. Then you lastly get +2 hp per level.
Drawback: You have disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and on ability checks made to squeeze into or hide in confined spaces, then a -5 on dexterity checks and saves. No downsides towards attacking with the weapons though.
Stacking with Your Natural Size
If you choose the same size your species already has, the benefits and drawbacks still apply on top of your normal traits. For example:
A naturally Medium character who selects Medium gains the dual-size treatment and increae on saves.
A naturally Small character who selects Small gains the improved hiding/squeezing and the Strength penalties on top of their existing Small traits.
A naturally Large character who selects Large gains the enhanced carrying capacity and Strength bonuses plus stealth penalties and overall dexterity penalties.
Additional Notes
Your size change does not alter your ability scores, Hit Points, or other racial traits unless those traits specifically reference size.
The DM may rule that certain magic items, vehicles, or environments interact with your new size in unexpected ways.
This feat can be taken only once. If your campaign or westmarches uses the optional rule that allows multiple origin feats, discuss with your DM whether a second size-related feat would be allowed.
Innate Benefits and Drawbacks
You also get the innate bonuses and drawbacks for being the size the following listed below
Small
Benefits: You are able to squeeze through smaller areas and don't need to eat as much.
Drawbacks: Lower grapple size, and some attacks may affect you more easily (like the swallow move some monstes have)
Large
Benefits: You gain an extra die of damage for each die there is (Greataxe [1d12] = 2d12 | Maul [2d6] = 4d6]), you have an increased size for grappling and are less likely to be affected by certain things; You have a larger range technically, you also have a variety of ways to assist the party more easily that size medium and smaller wouldn't normally have.
Drawbacks: Larger visual threat, more enemies that can surround you, places usually aren't meant for size large creatures, may need to find another way around to get to certain areas, and easier to target with AOE's, but there is some more not listed.
