Berserker's Bargain

Prerequisite: None

You fight by throwing caution aside, turning your own defenses into fuel for devastating attacks.

Make the Bargain

At the start of your turn, you can choose to enter a Berserker's Bargain until the start of

While the Bargain is active:

  • Your melee attacks deal +1d6 damage.

  • Your Speed increases by 10 feet.

  • You have Advantage on checks made to Shove or Grapple.

  • You cannot take the Dodge action.

However, your reckless fighting leaves you Exposed:

  • Attack rolls against you have +2.

  • Your AC decreases by 1 (-1 AC)

  • If you willingly move away from a creature you attacked this turn, that creature can make an Opportunity Attack against you even if you would normally avoid it.

Double or Nothing

If you start your turn with half your maximum Hit Points or fewer, you can increase the Bargain's bonus damage to +1d10.

However, doing so comes at a greater cost. Until the start of your next turn, you cannot use reactions.

The Price of Power

Whenever you make a Bargain, you must continue fighting aggressively. If you end your turn without either hitting a hostile creature, attempting to Grapple/Shove one, or moving at least 10 feet toward a hostile creature, you lose the Bargain immediately.

Breaking the Bargain

Once you choose to make the Bargain, you cannot end it early. If you do you are Exposed for the rest of combat.
