Can store any buff, non-damage, self targeting, or detection spell into a self made item. The spell can only target the user, if it is a buff that can effect multiple people it cannot pass the bonuses onto anyone but the user of the item. If it is a spell that targets an enemy it is treated like a normal cast without any modifiers of the caster. Each item can only store one spell inside of it and is destroyed upon use, how it is destroyed is dependent on the item and what spell is inside of it. The more time spent imbuing the item with the spell the higher the level the spell that can be stored into to the item, takes 30 minutes for a cantrip and scales up by 1.5 of time per level of spell of the previous level of spell and round up to the nearest quarter hour. So 30 minutes for a cantrip, 45 minutes for a 1st level spell, 1 hour 15 minutes 2nd level spell, 2 hours for a 3rd level spell, 3 hours for a 4th level spell, 4 and a half hours for a 5th level spell, 6 hours and 45 minutes for a 6th level spell, 10 hours and 15 minutes for a 7th level spell, 15 and a half hours for an 8th level spell, and 24 hours for a 9th level spell. The imbuer must concentrate during the whole process of imbuing the magic into the item. Can shorten concentration time by 1d6 and then multiply the roll by 15 minutes can only effect spells of level 3 or higher. There is a small chance that the items used by the spell may not be destroyed upon casting and retain a second use of the spell but this may only happen once per item so if the roll to save the item is met that same item may not be rolled for a second saving throw upon its second cast. The saving roll of the item is a D20 for cheap items an 18 or higher must be met for a medium cost item a 17 or higher on the roll and for expensive items a 16 or higher on the roll will save the item from destruction on its first use. Cheap items have a value of 1gp to 50gp, Medium cost items have a value of 50gp to 500gp, and Expensive items are 500gp and up in value. Any item can be modified to count as a self made item (such as a discovered item that is then modified in some sort i.e. a gemstone that is unrefined then refined by the caster, paper that is painted upon, or really anything that you can change from it's orginal form to a new form to better channel your magic into.) It is up to DM discretion what they count as a self made item, if you have any questions or unsure if it will count as self made refer to your DM and see if they will let it count. All items imbued with magic cannot be alive or affected by any other form of magic.
