Prerequisite: Prerequisite: Ability to cast at least one spell of 1st level or higher, and you must have cast Alter Self 2 at least once. You have learned a rare technique that allows you to weave two separate spells together into a single, more powerful hybrid spell. This method was originally only possible for demons capable of growing a second mouth for dual verbal component.
Dual Incantation (5 Charges). when you cast a spell that requires an Action, you may also cast a second spell you know or have prepared that also requires an Action and is of equal or lower level. Both spells are cast as part of the same Action and merge into a single Hybrid Spell.
Casting a Hybrid Spell expends only one spell slot (the higher-level of the two spells). When you create a Hybrid Spell, choose one of the following effects:
- Amplified Power. Both spells deal (or restore) one additional die of the same type they already use.
- Elemental Fusion. The hybrid gains a new secondary effect based on the combination of the two spells (determined by the DM).
- Extended Reach. The hybrid’s range or area of effect increases by 50% (or by one size category for area spells).
After using this feat you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 10 + the level of the higher spell) or gain 1 level of exhaustion.
