Your wounds are proof of your trials. Your scars are medals of hard-won victory. The world has not gifted you power — you have earned every breath you still draw. This boon reflects a Fighter whose story is myth not because he was chosen by fate, but because he refused to bow to it.
Phase 1: Master of the Mortal Ideal
You have glimpsed perfection through battle — not divine, not infernal, but human. Your strikes tell stories, your movements are lessons, and your resolve bends fate itself.
Perfect Form. When you use a Superiority Die to add to an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you may roll the die twice and take the higher result.
You can use this benefit a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per long rest.
Indomitable Focus. Whenever you roll initiative, you may immediately regain 1 Superiority Die if you are below your maximum.
Aura of Aspiration. When an ally within 10 feet of you makes an attack roll or ability check and rolls a natural 1, they can reroll it once. You can use this reaction once per long rest — your example alone drives others beyond failure.
Resolute Heart. You fight not only with steel, but with unbreakable resolve. You gain a flat +1 bonus to AC and all saving throws.
This bonus increases to +2 when you are below half your hit points.
Iron Endurance. This represents the legendary refusal to fall even when every fiber of your body screams surrender.
Once per short rest, when you would be reduced to 0 Hit Points, you may instead drop to 1 Hit Point.
Immediately afterward, you gain temp HP equal to your Fighter level + your Constitution modifier.
Sword of Living Memory. Your blade does not just strike — it echoes. Each blow teaches you how to land the next better.
Choose one weapon you are proficient with:
Whenever you confirm a critical hit with that weapon, you gain 1 Inspiration Die (a d6).
At the start of your next turn, you may spend that inspiration die to add it to an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check.
You may hold only one Inspiration Die at a time.
Rallying Stand. This reflects the way your courage and defiance inspire others to push past their breaking point.
Once per long rest, when you or an ally within 30 feet would fail a saving throw or be dropped unconscious, you may use your reaction to force a new roll.
