This only works for Barbarian for now.
Player Intoxicated Rules
Player Intoxicated Rules
When a player enters combat or is in combat while drunk, their drunkenness is triggered. Roll a d6 to determine which effect activates.
The Saving Throw
An effect lasts for 1 round (unless stated otherwise). When the effect ends and the player is still drunk, they must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 12):
- Success: They regain control and become "normally drunk" (no special effects).
- Failure: The drunkenness takes a turn for the worse! Immediately roll a new d6 on the table below.
Inebriation Effects Table
- 1. Bad Trip
You must use your Bonus Action to enter a Rage (if you have Rages remaining). You must use your movement to move toward and attack the nearest creature you can see. This lasts until your Rage ends. - 2. Melancholy
You become deeply depressed. You cannot attack this round. You can only use your Action to Dash or Disengage. - 3. Reckless Hubris
You believe you are immortal. You must use your movement (and a jump if necessary) to rush straight into the center of the battle. Attack rolls against you have Advantage, but you gain Advantage on your own attack rolls and deal an extra 1d4 damage on a hit. - 4. Cuddle Bug
You refuse to use weapons. You must use your Action to attempt a Grapple (Athletics vs. Athletics/Acrobatics). If you succeed, you gain a +2 bonus to AC (Half Cover). If an external enemy attacks you and misses, but would have hit without your +2 bonus, the attack hits the creature you are grappling instead! - 5. Invisible
You cover your eyes, fully convinced that no one can see you. You gain the Blinded condition (giving enemies Advantage to detect/hit you). However, your bizarre behavior leaves all enemies within 30 feet so stunned and confused that their Speed becomes 0 for this round. This effect ends immediately if you take damage. - 6. Clumsy Tumbler (Klumpeduns)
Your Speed becomes halfed. You stagger and stumble forward in a completely unpredictable way. All attack rolls against you have Disadvantage, but you also have Disadvantage on your own attack rolls.
