You are a tortured soul and no one will ever truly understand you. Plagued by melancholy and prone to outbursts, you attempt to mask your self-loathing under a paper thin layer of arrogance and gain the following:
- Increase your Intelligence or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- Gain advantage on Charisma(Deception) checks.
- Outside of combat, rolling a natural one on any skill check or saving throw results in an outburst. You have disadvantage on all checks and saves made in the presence of anyone who witnessed your outburst.
- Being cynical and tormented has very few upsides but you are immune to being Charmed.
