Healer (Improved) Image

You are an able physician, allowing you to mend wounds quickly and get your allies back in the fight. You gain the following benefits:

  • You gain proficiency in the medicine skill.
  • When you use a healer's kit to stabilize a dying creature, that creature also regains 1 hit point.
  • As an action, you can spend one use of a healer's kit to tend to a creature and restore 1d6 + 4 hit points to it, plus additional hit points equal to the creature's maximum number of Hit Dice. The creature can't regain hit points from this feat again until it finishes a short or long rest.
  • You are capable of administering aid to creatures recovering hit points during a short rest. You can perform this aid on a number of creatures (including yourself) equal to your Intelligence plus Wisdom modifiers (minimum 2) and you are able to do this while taking a short rest yourself as long as you are conscious and not exhausted. A creature receiving the benefit of this aid maximizes one of their spent hit dice to recover hit points. You must have basic healing supplies (a healer's kit, cloth bandages, medicinal herbs, etc) in order to aid creatures. If you are using a healer's kit to administer this aid you must expend one use of the kit but can aid but can aid any number of creatures, up to your maximum allowed by this ability.
