When you gain this feat, choose one willing creature with whom you share a magical bond. That creature becomes your bound companion for the purposes of this feat.
When you are reduced to 0 Hit Points, your physical form dissolves into glowing magical particles instead of leaving a body. The particles return to your bound companion and form a magical tattoo, marking, or similar manifestation on their body.
While in this dormant form, you cannot take actions or reactions, move, be targeted, or be affected by attacks, spells, or other effects.
When your bound companion finishes a Long Rest, you can reform in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of them, returning with all your Hit Points.
Once you reform using this feat, you cannot do so again until your bound companion finishes another Long Rest.
