"I am the living weapon. I have plunged my hands into the heart of the undying dragon, and from its molten core, I focus my ki into a force like iron."
Martial Artist
You've been granted knowledge from the dragon itself that enhances your combat prowess. You gain a Martial Arts die with a size equal to 2 times your proficiency bonus (1d4 at +2, 1d6 at +3, 1d8 at +4, 1d10 at +5, 1d12 at +6). This replaces your current Martial Arts die if you already have one. Your unarmed strikes are considered martial arts attacks. So long as you aren't wearing medium or heavy armor and you are not wielding a shield, you can roll a Martial Arts die in place of the normal damage of your martial arts attacks.
Martial Arts Weapon. When you first take this feat, choose one simple or martial weapon with which you are proficient that lacks the two-handed, heavy, and special properties. Any attacks you make with that weapon are considered martial arts attacks (that weapon is also considered a monk weapon for monks). You may choose to change this weapon for another that meets these criteria once each time you level up.
Ki Adept
You've been granted the power to harness the mystic energy of ki in martial arts. Your access to this energy is represented by a number of ki points. You gain 3 ki points (these points are added to any ki points you have from another source). You regain all spent ki points when you finish a short or long rest. In addition, whenever you spend at least 1 ki point as part of a martial arts attack, that attack is considered magical for purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities.
You learn 3 options to use your ki. If the option forces a saving throw, the DC is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier. You can choose from among the monk class's 2nd level options (Flurry of Blows, Patient Defense, or Step of the Wind) or either of the following:
Iron Fist of Force. You concentrate your ki into a single, devastating strike. When you hit another creature with a melee martial arts attack, you can spend 1 to 3 ki points. If you do, add force damage to the damage roll equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die for each of these ki points you spend.
Iron Palm of Propulsion. You expel your ki into a target, attempting to launch them away from you. When you hit another creature with a melee martial arts attack, you can spend 1 to 3 ki points. If you do, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed directly away from you up to 10 feet for each ki point spent. If the creature is 2 or more sizes larger than you, it is repelled only half that distance.
