You have learned to use your hips as a fulcrum, turning an opponent’s balance against them. Half-hip throws, stepping hip throws, and similar wrestling techniques allow you to put an enemy on the ground—or strip a weapon from their hands—without releasing the clinch.
While you are grappling a creature no more than one size larger than you, you can replace one of your attacks with a Hüfting maneuver. Make a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target’s choice of Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics). On a success, choose one of the following effects:
Hip Throw. You throw the creature to the ground, causing it to fall Prone. Your grapple is not broken by the throw.
Disarm. You use the clinch to wrench away one object or weapon the creature is holding. The object falls into an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the creature.
You can attempt only one Hüfting maneuver per turn. A creature that is two or more sizes larger than you cannot be affected unless another feature allows you to grapple creatures of that size.
