You choose to see the best in everyone, holding a firm belief in the fundamental goodness of mortals. While this optimistic worldview anchors your morality, it leaves you blind to deception and uncomfortable with deceit.
* Guileless Nature: You have disadvantage on Charisma (Deception) checks.
* Blinded Trust: You have disadvantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks to determine if a creature is lying or deceiving you.
* Unwavering Faith: When you fail an Insight check to detect a lie, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Proficiency Bonus as your belief in others momentarily shields your spirit. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
