Ability Score Increase. Your choice of your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1.

While wielding a Longsword in one or both hands, you can choose to change the damage type to Piercing instead of Slashing on a hit. In addition, while wielding a Longsword in one or both hands and not wielding a Shield, your Armor Class increases by 1.
