Avatar Of Calamity Image

When a calamity manifests, it is often overlooked by the common folk that it could be a warning, an omen or a guiding light by the gods above. Upon picking this feat up, your character embodies the personified state of a certain calamity. As a result, they have lost their identity and all memories that come with it. You are now a walking disaster, bearing only the name of your calamity and the task it needs to accomplish.

Upon taking this feat, your character gradually begins to lose memories of their life. They keep their skills, abilities and modifiers but obtain newer, more natural abilities to back them up in their new apocalyptic goals. Your DM should always be aware that you have picked this feat and should always be involved in the calamity that will be invoked in your character.

When picking this feat up, choose two damage types. You gain resistance to them. Picking this feat again will result in you gaining more resistances. Picking a damage type you are already resistant to will cause you to gain immunity to that damage type. After you have made your choices, your DM may choose a set of damage types to give you a vulnerability of.

Additionally, The DM may award you certain perks that would benefit your avatar's gimmick. For an example, a Calamity of the Hurricane may be granted flight. A calamity of eruption may be given an extra spell, feat or a number of ability score improvements in order to fit the Avatar best.

In the end, the Avatar's task is something the DM must determine. It is a long-term goal that always leads to an uncertain faith. Calami is the goddess of guidance, but the way she is showing you is veiled by the thickest mists.
