General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+)
You gain the following benefits.
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Dexterity or Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Salvo. Once per Short Rest, you can replace one of your attacks with a Salvo, firing a number of arrows up to your Proficiency Bonus simultaneously. You can distribute the arrows among multiple targets or direct all of them at a single target within a 90-foot cone. Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, a target takes damage equal to your longbow's normal damage for each arrow directed at it.
Covering Fire. When an ally moves out of an enemy creature's reach, you can use your Reaction to make a longbow attack against that enemy. On a hit, the target takes damage equal to your longbow's normal damage and cannot make Opportunity Attacks against the ally whose movement triggered this Reaction.
