General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+)
You gain the following benefits.
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Dexterity, Strength or Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
When Wielding a Longsword with Two Hands
Forceful Blows. When you hit a creature with a longsword wielded in two hands, you can deal an additional 1d8 damage to the target and each creature adjacent to it. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a Short Rest.
Unrelenting Power. While wielding a longsword with two hands, you gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls.
When Wielding a Longsword with One Hand
Parry. When you or an adjacent creature is hit by an attack, you can use your Reaction to parry the attack, reducing the damage dealt to the target by 1d8 + the ability score increase granted by this feat. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a Short Rest.
Unrelenting Defense. While wielding a longsword with one hand, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.
