You have spent decades honing your craft, striving to become the perfect blacksmith. Through practice and a number of costly mistakes, your skill outshines most any other.
You gain Expertise in Smith's Tools.
Increase your Strength or Wisdom by 1, to a maximum of 20.
During a long rest, you may use smith's tools to temporarily improve either one set of medium or heavy armor (excluding hide armor) or one weapon that lacks the range property or ammunition equal to the level of the crafter.
Improving armor removes any disadvantage it gives on Dexterity (Stealth) checks for the next 16 hours. If the armor does not normally give the wearer disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks, you instead grant it +1 AC for the next 8 hours.
You can sharpen one non magical melee weapon that does piercing or slashing damage and give it a bonus to damage rolls equal to your proficiency bonus. Once you have dealt damage with the weapon a number of times equal to your level, the bonus goes away.
You can sharpen non magical ammunition that does piercing damage and give it a bonus to damage rolls equal to your proficiency bonus. You can make number of the ammunition equal to your level.
