Formulaic Prodigy

Be it your innate understanding of wizardry or the years you spent studying spells and the weave itself. You have learned to understand and recreate spells you have seen others cast allowing you to record them in your spellbook after your own efforts. Whenever you see someone cast a spell from the Wizard spell list you can make a DC 14 Arcana check, if you succeed then you memorize the basics of the spell and can then transcribe it into your book later. Learning a spell this way costs 50 gold per level of the spell and you must take time equal to one hour plus the level of the spell to fully transcribe it into your book. You can do this either all at once or in bursts of time and always return to a spell you are working on. Though you may only memorize a number of potential spells equal to 4+ your Intelligence modifier.
