You are learned in the ancient arcane ways of Netheril, where masters of magic once shaped arcane energy to their own will.
When you prepare spells, you can break down up to 3 existing arcane spell slots to create a specified number of lower level spell slots. (Except 1st level spell slots) The sum of the levels of all the new spell slots must equal the spell level of the slot broken down. A spell slot can be broken up an unlimited number of ways.
Spell slots changed in this way last until you prepare your spells once more.
