Calculated Defense

Through your continuous study of the arcane, you have developed a method of turning brain into brawn, or so one might say. You gain the following benefits;

• While you are not wearing any armor, your Armor Class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + you Intelligence modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.
• When casting the shield spell as a reaction, you can forgo the +5 bonus to your AC and instead choose to gain a +5 bonus to one of your saving throws.
• At Higher Levels. When you cast the shield spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can confer the spell's benefits to any one creature within 30 feet of you. You can target one additional creature for every two slot levels above 1st.
