Any character who has contacted lycanthropy and is aware of his or her condition can learn this feat. This determines whether the afflicted character can voluntarily control his or her shape. In addition to this, the resultant attunement to one's mind, body, and soul grants a +2 to the character's wisdom modifier.
Resist: The afflicted character must make a check at moonrise each night of the full moon to resist involuntarily assuming hybrid form. An injured character must also check for an involuntary change after accumulating enough damage to reduce his or her HP by 1/4 and again after each additional 1/4 lost.
Become Aware: When returning to normal form after an involuntary change, the character attempts a WIS check (DC 15) to realize what has happened. If the check succeeds, the character becomes aware of their current affliction. An attempt is made at the end of each turn that the character has.
Voluntary Transformation: In order for a character to voluntarily transform into their hybrid form they must spend 1 Action. They are aware of their condition after voluntarily transforming.
Aware: While aware, the character is in full control of their actions. This control only covers the extent preventing attacks against their allies, meanwhile they adopt animalistic behaviors in relation to their respected form.
Return: An afflicted character who is aware of his or her condition can try to return to humanoid form after assuming animal or hybrid form. On a failed check to return to humanoid form, the character must remain in animal or hybrid form until the nest dawn, when he or she automatically returns to humanoid form.
Armor: An involuntary change to an animal or hybrid form ruin's the character's armor and clothing if the new form is larger than the character's natural form. Characters can hastily doff clothing while changing, but not armor. Magic armor survives the change if it succeeds at a d20 save (DC 10).
