Prerequisite: 14 Strength
Your physical strength is powerful enough that you can use it to manipulate arcane energy. When you gain this feat, choose one Evocation or Abjuration Cantrip, and one Evocation or Abjuration First Level Spell. You learn these spells and gain a number of First Level Spell Slots equal to 1/2 your Strength modifier which you can use to cast the spell you learned. Strength is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
You are capable of learning additional Spells (Cantrip or First Level), provided they are in either the Evocation or Abjuration schools and you are taught by another character or NPC who knows the spell. Requirements for learning spells are as follows:
- Cantrips: 8 hours of study, 200 GP, DC 14 STR check. If you fail the strength check, the gold and time you spent attempting to learn the spell is wasted.
- First Level Spells: 16 hours of study, 400 GP, DC 16 STR check. If you fail the strength check, the gold and time you spent attempting to learn the spell is wasted.
